Coach of the Year
Thursday, February 10, 2011
Our very own Demetris Herodotou was voted Coach of the Year at this year’s Day of Tennis, held at Olympic House in Nicosia. Demetris thoroughly deserved to take the honours with his hard work on and off the court paying dividends for the bright talents at Herodotou Tennis Academy. Demetris has guided players such as Petros Chrysochos to the number 1 spot in the U14’s in Cyprus and into the top 50 of Tennis Europe. Petros was also awarded at the Day of Tennis ceremony as the best player U14s and the Award for Best Teenage Athlete of the Year 2010. Atalanta Patsali was awarded 3rd Best player U14’s & U16’s and Boyan Popovic for 3rd Best player U16’s.
Demetris is a breath of fresh air for Tennis in Cyprus, and a true lover of the game with a passion for success! Congratulations to Demetris Herodotou, Petros Chrysochos, Boyan Popovic and Atlanta Patsali.
