Chrysochos conqueror in Germany

Petros Chrysochos won his 1st Category 1 tournament at the Mercedes Jugend Cup in Germany in phenomenal style. He was up against Greece's Vasilios Stavropoulos for the st time in a Tennis Europe event. The Greek although has the physical advantage, of height and weight, could not make it count, as Petro was taking no prisoners with a 6-0, 6-0 thrashing. Petro, after a somewhat disappointing run at the Muller junior cup (category 1), wanted to set the record straight and cement his presence in the Elite players of Europe. He dropped just the 1 set all tournament.

Petro is currently on the ITF development tournament and has played 3 tournaments so far, and has done extremely well winning the doubles in the first two tournaments, coming runner up to Borza Bogdan in the singles of the Bavarian Junior open, and winning todays final at the Mercedes Jugend Cup.

Petro is playing in one more tournament in Germany before returning home to rest, then training for the ITF circuit in Cyprus, with first the Aphrodite Cup (Grade 3) and followed by Herodotou Tennis Academy (Grade 5) tournament.
