Petros Chrysochos made a successful start to his Serbian campaign. Our young champion played Serbia’s Stefan Blanusa. Petros made light work of his opponent beating him in 2 sets 6-1, 6-0.  Lets hope Petros keeps his focus, and level headedness throughout his stay in Serbia.

Kostantinos unfortunately did not get to play, as there was a mix up with the match venue, ending in a walkover, leaving Kostantinos out ofthe tournament early on. This is the kind of misunderstanding you want to avoid, when players fly so many thousands of miles to play tennis. Maybe Tennis Europe should change some laws regarding players that have travelled so far or the tournament referee be given the decision to use common sense in situations like this. After all, Kostantinos practiced there, signed in on time, and was eager to play his match. A review of the tournament referee’s responsibilitiesis required.
